Pledis Acquired by Big Hit, SEVENTEEN Will Not Appear in the ‘Music Core’ Program
SEVENTEEN reportedly will not appear in the 'Music Core' program on MBC. That's because Pledis Entertainment was recently acquired by Big Hit Entertainment.

According to reports from News1 media on Friday (06/19), BTS and TXT since May 2019 have never been promoted in the 'Music Core' program. It was allegedly triggered because of a dispute between Big Hit Entertainment and MBC that occurred because of the 'MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2018' event.

With the acquisition of Pledis Entertainment by Big Hit Entertainment, many suspect that SEVENTEEN will not carry out their promotional activities on the 'Music Core' program.

When questioned,  Pledis Entertainment confirmed the news and confirmed that SEVENTEEN would not promote their latest album on 'Music Core'.

As previously scheduled, SEVENTEEN will return with a new song titled 'Left & Right' on June 22, 2020 at 18:00 KST. Instead of appearing on 'Music Core', SEVENTEEN will star in a special comeback program on Mnet which will air one hour after the release of their latest mini album. (www.onkpop.com)
