Actor Ji Soo's agency and drama production company 'River Where The Moon Rises' have not yet to find a middle ground. This is further exacerbated by the attitude of Ji Soo's agency, KeyEast, which refuses to pay a fine for the damage received by the production company, Victory Contents, because of Ji Soo's resignation in the middle of the drama's broadcast.
Ji Soo's withdrawal from the drama due to his bullying case cost Victory Contents huge losses and demanded compensation from KeyEast of 2.6 million USD.
“Our first scheduled meeting for legal negotiations is on May 20th, 2021. However, KeyEast only sent one legal representative to our building, without anyone from their agency attending our meeting. In contrast to their statement released earlier saying they would firmly act to reach an agreement with us, they showed a different attitude. KeyEast claims that Ji Soo's departure from the drama was the one-sided decision of our production company and therefore, they are not responsible for breach of contract." Said Victory Contents.
Until now there has been no statement from KeyEast regarding the news of refusal to pay the fine. (www.onkpop.com)
