German Radio Host Matthias Matuschik's Racist Comments on BTS Make ARMYs Angry
Matthias Matuschik, a radio host from Germany, immediately became a hit after his racist comments against BTS circulated on the internet. The host of the radio program BAYERN 3 immediately received harsh criticism from many netizens, especially BTS (ARMY) fans on Twitter, after his racist remarks to BTS.

In a tweet, one of BTS' fanbases in Germany wrote, A german radio host was talking immensely badly about BTS, comparing them to COVID and mentioning blasphemy and north korea, this can’t be tolerated! please email bighit about this as well!"

The Twitter account with the username '@BTS_UPDATES_GER' also includes video evidence in which Matthias Matuschik says his racist remarks against the 'Dynamite' singer. In the video, Matthias Matuschik defends himself not as Xenophobic, but is followed up with statements with his harsh criticism on BTS' performance on 'MTV Unplugged' performing Coldplay's 'Fix You'.

He likened, "For this [Coldplay cover], you will spend the next 20 years on a 'vacation' in North Korea."

Many fans and netizens then protested against Matthias's racist comments in his video, including netizens who are not K-Pop fans. (www.onkpop.com)
