TWICE success to prove their achievements by winning the '2020 Shorty Awards' in the Music category. On Monday (05/04) the 12th 'Shorty Awards 2020' award ceremony announced the list of winners.
2020 Shorty Awards is an award event dedicated to the most influential people, brands and organizations on social media including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and many more.
The winner is determined based on the performance of each month for the past year combined with the results of online voting and assessments from Real Time Academy.
TWICE won the Music category, beating other popular singers around the world, such as AJR, Anderson. Paak, Billie Eilish, Blanco Brown, Brandi Carlile, Celine Dion, J Balvin, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Mike Posner, and Missy Elliot.
TWICE became the next K-Pop group to win the award, after BTS in 2017 and BLACKPINK in 2019.
