Although her colleague has left, Ahn Ji Young continues a solo career as Bolbbalgan4. Through tvN's 'On and Off' program, Ahn Ji Young talked about the departure of her duet partner Woo Ji Yoon who left the group.
When asked about her feelings for the promotion without her colleague, Ahn Ji Young said, "Yes. To be honest, there's a lot of pressure because Ji Yoon isn't here, even if I try to pretend that nothing is wrong. It's not easy to try to adapt, but I have to get used to it."
"This is very emotional for me. The two of us, and now one is left, so it doesn't make sense that I can be whole. It feels like there is a lot of empty space. We are friends for almost 10 years. We know each other well. I honestly thought, ‘What should I do? What am I going to do?‘ But when I first heard it [her decision], my first thought was that I wanted to respect her and that she was really cool. Because she knows exactly what she wants to do. Because I am a friend who is on her side, I want to support her," continued Ahn Ji Young.
