SEVENTEEN managed to get a Gold certificate for the first time in Japan. The certificate was given by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) to SEVENTEEN for the success of selling their mini album titled 'We Make You'.
'We Make You' is a Japanese mini album released by SEVENTEEN last May and now the mini album has sold more than 100,000 units.
RIAJ will provide Gold certificates for every album that has sold 100,000 units, Platinum certificates for albums that sold 250 thousand units and Double Platinum for albums sold over 500 thousand units.
When releasing the 'We Make You' mini album and the music video 'Call Call Call!' A few months ago, SEVENTEEN also topped the Oricon chart in Japan. Congratulations to SEVENTEEN! (www.onkpop.com)
