BTS managed to bring home two award trophies at once from the '2020 American Music Awards'. This year the '2020 American Music Awards' was held on November 22th, 2020 local time in Los Angeles, United States.
Through the biggest music award event in the United States, BTS won the award trophy in the categories Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock and Favorite Social Artist. This is the second year for BTS to win the Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock award trophy and their third year to win the Favorite Social Artist award.
Despite not attending in person, BTS members welcomed the trophy in South Korea and conveyed their thanks through a message video played by the '2020 American Music Awards'.
