BTS succeed to make new history with their song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As of Monday (10/12) local time, the remix version of 'Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)' by Jawsh 685, Jason Derulo, and BTS managed to rank first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
This first ranking was obtained by the BTS version of the song “Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)” after getting a total of 16 million streams and successfully selling 76 thousand downloads in the United States on the week of October 8th.
Nielsen Music also mentioned that the BTS version of the song "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)" managed to get 70.7 million radio listeners in one week.
Meanwhile, the song “Dynamite” released by BTS in August is still holding 2nd place this week. Making BTS the only South Korean artist to have ranked first and second on the Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously.
According to Billboard, BTS is also the first group that manage to rank #1 and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after being last held by The Black Eyed Peas with the songs "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling" in 2009.
