Three popular K-Pop groups, BTS, BLACKPINK and MONSTA X were nominated for the best group at the '2020 MTV Video Music Awards'.
The official Twitter account for the '2020 MTV Video Music Awards' recently announced the list of artists nominated for Best Group. The various groups included in the nomination are BTS, BLACKPINK, MONSTA X, 5 Seconds of Summer, The 1975, Chloe x Halle, CNCO, Little Mix, Now United, and Twenty One Pilots.
In 2019, BTS won the award for the same category. Not only the Best Group category, this year BTS was also nominated for Best K-Pop, Best Pop, and Best Choreography for the song "ON".
Apart from BTS, various K-Pop groups that are included in the Best K-Pop category are (G)I-DLE, EXO, MONSTA X, TXT and Red Velvet.
