The drama “Snowdrop” which will be the new project of the director and screenwriter of JTBC's hit drama “SKY Castle” has received mixed responses from netizens.
In contrast to the response to the hit movie "SKY Castle" which has been so welcomed since its broadcast in 2018-2019, this new drama from director Jo Hyun Tak and scriptwriter Yoo Hyun Mi has drawn a lot of criticism and pessimistic responses.
This is due to various things, starting from the storyline that will be lifted up to the confirmed players, namely BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Kim Hye Yoon.
"Snowdrop" is said to be about a man who escapes from a prison in North Korea in 1987, who is found covered in blood by a student. She then takes care of the man, but his true identity is that of one of a hundred spies who survived hell-like training.
His second conflict begins when he falls in love with the woman who saved him at the same time he must complete the mission his country has given him.
