Seonghwa from ATEEZ was recently confirmed will be absent from '2020 KCON:TACT' because of injury. This unpleasant news was announced directly by KQ Entertainment, where they released an official statement regarding the news and Seonghwa's activity plans through fancafe.
"We wrote about the hip joint injury of ATEEZ member Seonghwa and his participation in activities scheduled in the future.
During a recent modern dance lesson, Seonghwa experienced pain near his hip joint. He went for an check up at a medical clinic that specializes in that field, and he has been diagnosed with a mild sprain."
The agency then discussed about Seonghwa's participation in the online event '2020 KCON:TACT' with other members.
"Even though this is a minor injury, he has been advised by the medical team to avoid intense movements for about two weeks, to avoid injuries that worsen or recur. Therefore, Seonghwa will only take part in the Meet & Greet segment of '2020 KCON:TACT Summer' on June 26th, and it will be difficult for him to take part in appearances."
