The album "Map of the Soul: 7" owned by BTS successfully obtained a Gold certificate in France. An institution called the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing announced that the album "Map of the Soul: 7" BTS, which was released last February, had received a Gold certificate in France.
In order to get a Gold certificate, an album must sell 50 thousand units in France.
Previously, BTS became the 1st South Korean artist to get a Gold certificate in France when the mini album 'Map of the Soul: Persona' sold more than 50 thousand units last December 2019.
Therefore, BTS is now the only South Korean artist who has two Gold certificates in French music industry.
