BTS became the first South Korean artist who managed to get a Platinum certificate in the United States. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has just announced that the album 'Love Yourself: Answer' released by BTS in 2018 has received a Platinum certificate.
This Platinum certificate was successfully obtained by BTS after the album 'Love Yourself: Answer' sold 1 million units in the United States. BTS is now the only South Korean singer who get a Platinum certificate in the US music industry.
Previously the album 'Love Yourself: Answer' also success make history after becoming the first Korean album to get a Gold certificate in 2018, which was then followed by the album 'Map of the Soul: Persona' in 2019 ago.
