BTS has been appointed as a global ambassador of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. On Thursday (19/12), Formula E announced, "BTS has been appointed as a global ambassador and spokesperson for the ABB FIA Formula E Championship 2020."
Through an official social media account, Formula E also wrote, "Global BTS stars are joining Formula E as a global ambassador who will shine light on important social issues and raise awareness about climate change."
Formula E or which uses the official name ABB FIA Formula E Championship is a single-seat car racing event that uses electricity.
The championship was first conceived in 2012 and the inaugural season began in Beijing in September 2014.
In May 2020, South Korea will host the next Formula E championship. (www.onkpop.com)
