Miss A's Min Shares Engagement Moment After Announced Marriage

One of Miss A member, Lee Min Young or as known as Min shares some pictures of her engagement day in New York, United States.  On April 26th, 2025, Min uploaded seven photos on her social media. “‘Let’s go on a picnic,’ he said. And this!” Min said through the caption on her social media.

The uploaded photos show her boyfriend who is now her future husband kneeling while handing over a ring. The photo was taken in Central Park.

In the photo, the artist born in 1991 looks happy and accepts the proposal. She also hugs her future husband and shows off the ring she received. A few days ago, Min attracted attention by announcing her wedding plans via social media. They will be getting married in June.

Her future husband is a non-celebrity businessman. They met through an acquaintance at a concert in 2018. They have been dating seriously since then. In April 2023, the two lovebirds got engaged.

"In both ups and downs, I have had someone who always feels like home," she said.

DAY6's 'HAPPY' Achieves The First Win on Inkigayo!

The famous Korean boy band, DAY6 achieved their first win on the music show Inkigayo. On September 29th, 2024, DAY6 received the winning trophy on the latest episode of Inkigayo.

This JYP Entertainment boy band won with their song "Happy". This was their first win on the Inkigayo music program during their career.

This win was also their first win with the song "Happy". Apart from their first win at Inkigayo, this trophy is DAY6's sixth since 9 years of their debut.

The song "Happy" is DAY6's b-side song which beats DAY6's "Welcome To The Show" as well, and Lee Young Ji's "Small Girl".

DAY6 won with a score of 6380, while their losing song got 4585 points. Rapper Lee Young Ji's song "Small Girl" in collaboration with EXO's D.O received a score of 4521 points.

List of Idols Who Reached the Top Position on the Billboard World Albums Chart

BOYNEXTDOOR, Stray Kids, Jimin BTS, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN, Tzuyu TWICE, and many more managed to reach the top spot on the Billboard world album charts. As is known, Billboard has published the World Albums chart for the week ending Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

BOYNEXTDOOR's new mini album "19.99" debuted at the top spot on the World Albums chart this week, in addition to becoming their first album to enter the top 40 of the Billboard 200.

19.99 is the third mini album by South Korean boy group BOYNEXTDOOR, released on September 9th, 2024, through KOZ Entertainment.

Stray Kids' latest album "ATE" rose again to No. 2 in its ninth week on the World Albums chart, and also rose to No. 90 on the Billboard 200.

BTS Jimin's solo album "MUSE" also jumped to No. 3 in its ninth week on the World Albums chart, becoming his first solo album to spend nine weeks on the Billboard 200.

LE SSERAFIM's new mini album "CRAZY" took 4th place in its third week on the World Albums chart, while remaining on the Billboard 200 at No. 127.

ENHYPEN with their album "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" which was released on June 12th, 2024 managed to stay in 5th position in the 10th week on the World Albums chart.

BTS's first anthology album "Proof" rose to No. 8 in its 119th week on the World Albums chart. Tzuyu's solo debut mini album "abouTZU" with its main single Run Away followed in 9th position in the second week of Billboard World Albums.

Meanwhile, aespa "Armageddon" rose back to 10th position in its 17th week on the chart.

SEVENTEEN's "17 IS RIGHT HERE" rose to 11th place in its 21st week. The album's title song "MAESTRO" showed its global appeal by topping the global rankings.

SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan Entered the Military Training Center as a Social Service Worker!

SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan is the first member to begin his military obligations. He will enter the military training center today.

He will also receive basic military training and perform alternative service as a social worker and fulfill his national defense duties. The exact reason he became a social worker is not yet known.

However, it seems to be due to health reasons due to surgery on his ankle he had last year. There were no official events when Jeonghan entered the training center.

This morning NCTzens were shocked by a sudden announcement from SM regarding NCT's Jaehyun. There was no previous information but Jaehyun will be the member who is serving in the military after Taeyong, the leader.

Jaehyun is reported to have registered as an army soldier in the military band. Jaehyun will officially depart on November 4th, and serve as an active soldier.

There will be no official event held for Jaehyun's departure, in order to maintain the safety of many people from the crowd.

NCT's Jaehyun applied to the Army Military Band and received an acceptance notification from the Military Manpower Administration today.

Therefore, he plans to enlist as an active soldier on November 4 and fulfill his military service obligations.

BSS SEVENTEEN Wins OST Awards for Drama ''Queen of Tears'' at The 2024 Seoul Drama Awards

SEVENTEEN's Sub Unit, also known as BooSeokSoon (BSS), won the OST award at the 2024 Seoul Drama Awards. The event was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, September 25th 2024.

In the K-drama OST category, BSS, who sang the Queen of Tears OST entitled "The Reasons of My Smile", won the award.

Seungkwan, a member of SEVENTEEN, gave a statement about his experience at the event.

He stated, “Because I am active as a singer, I only attended music awards ceremonies.”

However, he felt honored to be able to attend the Seoul Drama Awards where many great people were present. According to him, receiving the OST award chosen by fans was a great honor.

BTS Jin, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, and Soloist Kang Daniel managed to top the list of boy group member brand reputation for September. This assessment was carried out by the Korean Business Research Institute, which analyzed 730 boy group members based on consumer participation, media coverage, communication and community awareness.

Jin BTS in the first position with a brand reputation index of 2,949,770. The analysis results show that related keywords include 'Run Jin', 'Super Tuna', and variety show genius. From the positive-negative analysis, he obtained an impressive amount, 93.03 percent positive responses.

On September 20th, 2024, Jin also attended Gucci's Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show in Milan, after being appointed as the brand's global ambassador in August 2024. This is a proud achievement for his career in the fashion world.

A young Chinese actor named Neo Hou recently get the attention of kpop fans because of his interactions with one of the members of the girl group F(x), Victoria. Victoria is now better known as Song Qian, which is the name of her in Chinese entertainment.

Two of them were recently known to be starring in a new variety show on a TV station in China. When she was young, Victoria started her career as an idol by becoming a member of girl group F(x) under SM Entertainment.

Even though she is still a member of F(x) to this day, Victoria decided to return to her home country and continue her career as an actress. While filming the variety show, actor Neo Hou approached Victoria to interact with her professional colleague.

Knowing that Victoria was an artist from SM Entertainment, Neo Hou then honestly admitted that he was also a trainee at SM Entertainment before finally pursuing a career as an actor.

Neo Hou said that he never met Victoria when he was still a trainee at SM Entertainment because at that time the trainees were separated from the singers. Being the only trainee from China made actor Neo Hou feel lonely at that time.

He then explained his reasons for leaving SM Entertainment, saying that his mother's health was declining at that time, requiring him to return to his home country and take care of his mother.

Recently, BLACKPINK Jennie underwent a photo shoot and interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine. The results of the interview with Jennie BLACKPINK were finally released by Harper's Bazaar via their official website on September 19.

In one part of her interview, Jennie finally responded to the indoor smoking/vaping controversy that occurred earlier this year. The BLACKPINK member expressed her understanding towards those who were upset by this incident.

Jennie said, “What can I do? If Korean people think it's wrong. I have to make up for it.”

She also stated, "I think I understand why you're upset. This is a cultural issue, this is history. It's time. And I can't go against time."

Jennie's statement indirectly acknowledges the cultural sensitivities surrounding smoking or vaping indoors in many countries around the world, including South Korea.
