MBC finally gave their response regarding the rumors stating that they would be re-broadcasting the program 'We Got Married'. According to reports from South Korean media on Tuesday (08/03), MBC is currently preparing a new program that carries the same concept as 'We Got Married'.
The program titled 'We Got Married Returns' will reportedly have a total of 8 episodes, targeted at a global audience and broadcast simultaneously in more than 20 countries.
However, when responding to the report, MBC immediately denied, "The program 'We Got Married Returns' will not be produced".
They explained that there had been discussions about the show, but in the end they decided to cancel the plan. 'We Got Married' itself is an MBC program that aired from 2008 to 2017, which covers the lives of male and female celebrities as virtual couples on screen. (www.onkpop.com)
