NCT 127 Takes Home The 1st Trophy With 'Ay-Yo' on Show Champion!

NCT 127 won a trophy with their latest song 'Ay-Yo' on Show Champion. On February 8th, 2023, music show Show Champion has announced their winner for the latest episode.

NCT 127 managed to beat NewJeans' 'Ditto' and 'OMG', as well as VIVIZ's 'Pull Up', to TXT's 'Sugar Rush Ride'.

This time's victory is the first victory trophy from NCT 127 with the song 'Ay-Yo' which was released on January 30th, 2023.

NCT DREAM Takes Home The 4th Trophy for The Song 'Beatbox' on Music Core!

NCT DREAM once again won the trophy on the music show with their song 'Beatbox'. On Saturday (11/06), NCT DREAM was nominated for the winner in the latest episode of the Music Core.

In today's episode of Music Core, NCT DREAM's song 'Beatbox' managed to rank first after getting a total score of 9800 points. NCT DREAM managed to outperform SEVENTEEN who was in second place with a total of 4457 points for the song 'HOT', and PSY who was in third place with 4166 points for the song 'That That'.

This is the 4th trophy that NCT DREAM has won since making a comeback with the song 'Beatbox'.

MONSTA X Takes Home The First Trophy on Music Show With 'LOVE'

MONSTA X won their first trophy for a comeback song, 'LOVE'. On Wednesday (04/05), MBC's music show M Every, Show Champion announced the winner for this week.

MONSTA X with their latest song 'LOVE'  managed to win over PSY, Moonbyul, Miyeon, and Lim Young Woong.

IVE Takes Home The 10th Trophy on 'Music Core', Congratulations!

IVE takes home the next trophy with their debut song 'ELEVEN'. This time the trophy got by IVE in the latest episode of Music Core on Saturday (01/22). 

In today's episode, 'ELEVEN' by IVE successfully got the 1st position with 6600 point. IVE managed to outperform Kim Min Seok which in the second position with 5266 point for the song 'Drunken Confenssion', and aespa in the third position with 5221 point for the song 'Dreams Come True'.

This is the 10th winning trohpy that IVE's achieve with the song 'ELEVEN' and the 10th trophy that has been achieved by IVE since debut. 'ELEVEN' now owned the record as the debut song of K-Pop girl group with the most  music show trophies, and becomes the first Quadruple Crown girl group on Music Core since 2018.

IVE Takes Home The 3rd Trophy Since Debut With 'ELEVEN', Congratulations!

IVE managed to get the next winning trophy with their debut song. On Wednesday (15/12), IVE's song 'ELEVEN' was successfully nominated for the winner in 'Show Champion'.

IVE had to compete with other popular K-Pop idols such as ATEEZ 'The Real', NCT U 'Universe (Let's Play Ball)', Davichi 'Everyday Christmas' and Lee Mujin 'When It Snows'. The song 'ELEVEN' finally managed to excel and delivered the third victory trophy for IVE since they debuted in the South Korean music industry.

Positive for COVID-19, Super Junior's Siwon does not attend 'MAMA 2021'

 

Surprising news came from Super Junior's Siwon who was confirmed to have contracted the COVID-19 virus. On Friday (10/12), SM Entertainment said, "Siwon was diagnosed with COVID-19 this morning. He had a second vaccine in September, but tested positive after taking a PCR test before starting his activity.”

The agency said that Siwon will temporarily stop all activities and will self-quarantine. As a result, Siwon will not be able to attend 'MAMA 2021' which will be held on December 11 tomorrow, as he was previously confirmed to be one of the presenters at the award ceremony.

Apart from Siwon, all staff and members who have direct contact with Siwon will also undergo a PCR test. (www.onkpop.com)

TWICE Takes Home 2nd Trophy for The Song 'SCIENTIST'!

TWICE managed to win the next trophy for their new song, 'SCIENTIST'. On Sunday (11/28), TWICE's song 'SCIENTIST' was successfully nominated for the winner on 'Inkigayo'.

In today's episode of 'Inkigayo', TWICE's 'SCIENTIST' managed to rank first and get a total score of 5988 points. In second place was IU's 'Strawberry Moon' which won a total of 5669 points, while the song 'Savage' aespa was in third place with 5428 points.

'Inkigayo' Announces 3 Weeks Off Next December, Here's The Reason

The music show aired through SBS, 'Inkigayo' is reportedly not going to air for 3 weeks in December. This was conveyed directly by an SBS representative, who said that their music show will air the last episode in 2021 on December 12th, 2021.

Meanwhile, for the next 3 weeks, Inkigayo' will no longer be broadcast this year and will return on January 9th, 2022. As a replacement, SBS is preparing for their year-end event titled '2021 Gayo Daejeon'.

The Boyz managed to bring home the next winning trophy for the song 'MAVERICK'. On Sunday (11/14), The Boyz's song 'MAVERICK' was included in the winner nomination on the 'Inkigayo' program along with IU's 'Strawberry Moon' and 'Savage' aespa.

Fu Yaning 'Girls Planet 999' Revealed Mnet Asked Her to Do 'Diss' Against Choi Yujin

One of the contestants of 'Girls Planet 999', Fu Yaning recently revealed a surprising fact. This was revealed by Fu Yaning in a recent interview, where she talked about her 'diss' or her satire rap against Choi Yujin on the 'Girls Planet 999' program.

In the first episode of 'Girls Planet 999', Fu Yaning raps CLC's 'Helicopter' by adding the lyrics, “We go up! But you don't," or "We're up! But you don't." She addressed the lyrics to Choi Yujin who was considered unsuccessful in her career with CLC.

Through a recent interview, Fu Yaning revealed that the 'diss' she did was a request from the 'Girls Planet 999' program staff. She also explained that although Mnet displayed the tension between Fu Yaning and Choi Yujin to make it look dramatic, Fu Yaning admitted to having a good relationship with Choi Yujin during the event.
