BTS 'Butter' Tops Billboard Hot 100 for 6 Weeks!
BTS has made a new history with their song, 'Butter'. On July 6th, Billboard announced that BTS' 'Butter' remained at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for week 6.

The Billboard Hot 100 is a chart that takes into account the most popular songs each week in the United States. With 'Butter', BTS has now broken their own record as an Asian artist who has been in first place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the longest time.

The only music group song that lasts the longest on the Billboard Hot 100 chart is the song 'One Sweet Day' by Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey, which ranked first for 16 weeks in 1995.

In related news, BTS is planning to release the single 'Butter' on a CD version containing the song 'Permission to Dance' by Ed Sheeran. (www.onkpop.com)
