SM Entertainment has just provided details regarding the solo debut album of Red Velvet member, Joy. On Monday (05/17), SM Entertainment released a press release regarding the album 'Hello', which will be Joy's first solo album since her debut with Red Velvet in 2014.
This album is said to be a remake album, consisting of 6 songs released from the 90s to 2000s. The songs have been remade with the distinctive vocal style and color of Red Velvet's Joy.
Apart from acting, Joy also had time to contribute her voice to sing the drama OST which received a good respond and enthusiasm from fans who were looking forward to her solo debut.
Joy is the second Red Velvet member after Wendy to make a solo debut. While the album 'Hello' has been scheduled for release on May 31st, the physical album will be released on June 3rd. (www.onkpop.com)
