'Life Goes On' Topped The Billboard Hot 100 Chart, BTS Again Set New Records
BTS again set a new record after the song 'Life Goes On' ranked first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Billboard has now announced that 'Life Goes On' has managed to rank first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of December 5th, 2020.

The Billboard Hot 100 is a music chart that takes into account popular songs in the United States. 'Life Goes On' became BTS' third song to rank first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the past three months, after 'Dynamite' and 'Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)'.

BTS has become the artist with the fastest ranking in the Billboard Hot 100 chart with three songs in the last 42 years. The last record was held by the legendary trio Bee Gees who topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their three songs in a span of 2 months and 3 weeks in 1977.

In addition, BTS became the fastest group after The Beatles who managed to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their first three songs. Previously, The Beatles managed to top the first three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2 months and 3 days in 1964.

'Life Goes On' is also the first Korean song to rank 1st on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since that chart was launched 62 years ago. It is also the first non-English song to rank first on the chart and BTS is the only group to have two songs at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Based on data from Billboard, 'Life Goes On' received 14.9 million streams and 150 thousand downloads as of the week of November 26th. The song 'Life Goes On' also gained 410,000 radio listeners on the weekend of November 29th.

Meanwhile, the song 'Dynamite' is currently at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, just below the songs 'Life Goes On' and 'Mood' by 24kGoldn feat. iann dior. BTS' previous album 'BE' also managed to rank first on the Billboard 200 chart.

Congratulations to BTS on a series of achievements with the song 'Life Goes On'! (www.onkpop.com)
