American music writer Nicholas Liddle revealed that he was offered 3 thousand dollars to write negative comments about BTS on Twitter.
On September 26th, the authors talked about labels and press teams trying to pay for social media accounts with large followers to tweet negatively about certain artists and their songs.
He remembers being offered $3K for bad talk about Nicki Minaj and her 2014 single “Anaconda” which stated, "I can never take money for negative tweets about someone's art. IT WAS DISGUSTING."
In a later tweet, he mentioned that he was offered the same amount to write negative tweets about BTS and “Dynamite”.
He said, “Did I do it? Not. Because I love the track, love those guys, and like I said, I'm not being paid for opinions that aren't reflective of how i truly feel. Period."
Meanwhile, BTS has been promoting their first English song “Dynamite” since August 21. (www.onkpop.com)
