The report said that the drama aired on tvN will begin the shooting process in September or October this year.
The cast in the first season such as Song Joong Ki, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ji Won, and Kim Ok Bin will return to play their respective characters.
Although there is no change in the cast, the director for the season 2 of this drama will be different from the season 1.
Kim Won Suk, who was previously a director in season 1 of 'Arthdal Chronicles', stated that he would only direct season 1 for the drama. He is also known have left Studio Dragon, the production house of the drama 'Arthdal Chronicles', and moved to KakaoM company.
