The arrival of director Bong Joon Ho received an extraordinary welcomed from South Korea's citizen. On Sunday (02/16), the director of 'Parasite' finally arrived in South Korea after a long stay in the United States.
Previously, Bong Joon Ho was busied with schedules in the United States to attend various awards events, including the 'Academy Awards' where the film 'Parasite' brought 4 oscar trophies.
When he arrived at the airport, Bong Joon Ho immediately got a standing ovation from reporters who had been waiting for him for hours.
The welcome like a hero is not surprising, remembering that he was the first Korean director who win an oscar trophy and 'Parasite' became the first foreign film to win the Best Picture award at the prestigious awards show.
