One member of (G)I-DLE, Shuhua gave a statement after getting a satire from the Knowing Brother's MC. On Saturday (01/11) yesterday Shuhua was one of the members of (G)I-DLE who attended the latest episode of 'Knowing Brother', with Yuqi and Soojin.
As known Shuhua is a member from Taiwan, MC Jang Sung Kyu asked her, "Doesn't using Korean on variety shows still feel difficult for you?" Shuhua answered, "It's not difficult," which Jang Sung Kyu answered again, "But it still seems difficult for you."
Hearing their conversation, Shindong immediately said, "No, it is not difficult for Shuhua, but it is difficult for us to understand.". After the episode of 'Knowing Brother' aired, many Shuhua fans demanded an apology for the comments Jang Sung Kyu and Shindong made to her.
Responding to the controversy, Shuhua uploaded the latest post on Instagram while writing, "Everyone, did you have fun while watching 'Knowing Brother'? I hope you like it! I and other members really want to attend on that program."
"I understand that you are worried, but I do not feel hurt at all. Otherwise, the MCs are very good and take good care of us, so it feels really nice. I want to thank our good seniors for always smiling at us and teaching us about many things when shooting.”
"The two seniors contacted me because they were worried. Do not feel guilty. I'm really fine. I hope our seniors don't feel hurt either. "
