CLC's Seungyeon finally gave an official statement related to the video recording which later became controversial. Previously circulated a video taken in backstage at the award ceremony 'Soribada Best K-Music Awards 2019' or 'SOBA 2019' on Thursday (22/08) yesterday.
In the video, there is a male staff who appears to be physically abusing to Seungyeon. Although in the end Seungyeon walked back as if nothing had happened.
Responding to the controversy, on Friday (08/23) Seungyeon wrote on Instagram, "Hey
guys! I know that there has been a drama about the clip at Soribada
festival yesterday. I would like to make it clear that nothing bad
happened yesterday at all!! I was just joking around with one of my
friend in front of our green room."
"I think it was because of the ANGLE
that made everyone think that something bad happened to me yesterday.
Thank you so much for worrying about me guys but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD
HAPPENED so there’s nothing to worry about." she wrote.
After getting clarification directly from Seungyeon, now fans don't need to worry anymore and can breathe freely. (www.onkpop.com)
