Members of Bangtan Boys and Red Velvet welcomed their award trophy at "Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards 2018". Previously it was announced that Bangtan Boys and Red Velvet received a trophy from the government for their achievements in the music industry.
The seven members of Bangtan Boys received the Orders of Cultural Merit award, while Red Velvet received the Award trophy from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
When welcoming the trophy, each of the Bangtan Boys and Red Velvet members delivered their speech and claimed to be honored for being awarded the award trophy.
Besides Bangtan Boys and Red Velvet, various Korean celebrities who also welcomed the trophy were Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Soon Jae, Kim Young Ok, Yoon Sang, Kim Nam Joo, Kim Tae Ri, Park Na Rae, and many more.
