‘Soribada Best K-Music Awards’ reaped controversy especially among EXO fans who did not accepted their idols who didn't receive awards.
EXO-L recently announced their intention to sue Soribada. Fans explained the rules of Soribada in the selection of winners by explaining, "Soribada claims to choose the winner based on 50% Digital (Streaming + Download), 30% Voting, 10% Steering Committee, and 10% Expert."
They also added, "However, most kpop fans have accepted that Soribada, like many other Korean awards events, seems to have a secret criterion" must attend "to win the big prize."
As we know, "Soribada Best K-Music Awards" which was held a few days ago announced TWICE and BTS as idols who were awarded the Daesang award, both of which were present at the event.
Meanwhile, though not a big award, EXO managed to get a trophy in the Netizen Popularity Awards category.
Until now Soribada still has not provided information regarding EXO-L's actions that want to sue one of the music streaming platforms in South Korea.
