Again, JYP Entertainment had to part with one of his artist's care. Jo Kwon decided to get out of JYP Entertainment after 16 years. On the Instagram page, Jo Kwon uploaded a photo with the phrase, "Time to change," with caption, "2001-2017 JYPE."
Sources from JYP Entertainment revealed, "Recently he and the company talked about his career direction and after doing so, he decided to start something new."
Although it was a difficult decision for both parties, Jo Kwon and the agency agreed to support each other in the future.
Jo Kwon became a trainee for 6 years since 2001 at JYP Entertainment. He then took the debut time of 9 years under the agency's auspices.
