WJSN's Bona has been confirmed to be starring in the same drama as actor Nam Joo Hyuk and actress Kim Tae Ri. On Tuesday (06/29), representatives from the South Korean entertainment industry reported that Bona will be starring in the latest tvN drama entitled 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One'.
In response to the report, Starship Entertainment immediately confirmed, "Bona is confirmed to be starring in the drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One'."
'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' is a drama set from 1998 to 2021. Starting from 1998 when the world seemed to be on the verge of collapse, two people aged 22 and 18 met for the first time, but then hurt each other at the age of 23 and 19 years. At the age of 24 and 20, the two began to trust each other, and at the age of 25 and 21 they began to fall in love.
In March, Nam Joo Hyuk was reportedly considering the male lead named Baek Yi Jin, while Kim Tae Ri was also considering the female lead role named Na Hee Do.
Bona will play as Go Yoo Rim, an athlete who joins the national fencing team and dreams of winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Even though she competes with Na Hee Do, the two have a good relationship.
