Jimin became the next BTS member to discuss the production of their latest album. On Friday (05/01), Jimin greeted fans by doing a live broadcast on YouTube which was part of the #StayConnected project that held during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jimin became the 3rd BTS member to broadcast live on YouTube, after RM and Suga. Like RM and Suga, through this broadcast Jimin also discussed the latest BTS album that was being worked on by them.
He said, "Our album this time will be produced by ourselves, so we chose PM (Project Manager). I was chosen to be PM for the music department. Suga gave his strong opinion. He told me, 'I want you to get closer to music through this project' and advised me to take on that role. I am very grateful for the opinion he gave."
"I don't know how I will do it, but I will work hard in helping album production. As a PM, all I can do now is ask members how they want to work, what stories they want to share, how many songs they want to work on, what kind of music style, what kind of composition, which members match the song, and discuss this with the label," he said.
Finally Jimin explained that he had recently held a discussion with BTS members and obtained opinions from each member. He said, "Members shared some of their opinions with me afterwards, so I will add their opinions and email the file. Gathering the opinions of members is more exciting than imagined. There is pride because I can gather their opinions and send them to the agency. I will send it now."
