The shocking news came from the founder of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk. On Friday (6/14), Yang Hyun Suk stated that he had resigned from all his positions at the YG Entertainment. The decision was taken by him after his name was later involved in various controversies.
The most recent case, Yang Hyun Suk was alleged to have threatened Han Seo Hee to change his testimony at the police station, in order to cover up B.I drug case.
In his official statement, Yang Hyun Suk said, "I have dedicated my life for 23 years to YG Entertainment. It is my greatest happiness to support the best artists and music and the only gift I can give to the public and fans."
"But starting today, I have decided to leave all my responsibilities and position at YG."
Finally he added, "I sincerely hope that no further destruction befalls the YG artists and their fans because of me. There are many great experts who are more talented than me, and by walking away, I'm sure I can give them a chance to shine even brighter."
