An ABC news anchor later came under fire from fans of Bangtan Boys. It began when a news anchor named Kendis Gibson covered a speech from a member of the Bangtan Boys which was held at the UN office some time ago.
When RM was giving a speech, Kendis Gibson said, "It's really very poetic," while pretending to cry.
When his colleague, Stephanie Ramos tried to give praise for the achievements obtained by Bangtan Boys, Kendis Gibson in a mocking tone said, "They are boy bands from Korea."
Stephanie Ramos then said, "They are role models," responding while shaking his head Kendis said, "They have dance choreography," he said with a laugh.
After the broadcast, Twitter account owned by Kendis Gibson was immediately flooded with comments from ARMY who demanded him to submit an apology.
Instead of apologizing, Kendis Gibson just wrote "Hilarious" on one of the fans' tweet. (www.onkpop.com)
