TWICE managed to bring home one of the daesang awards at the 'MAMA 2017' awards ceremony. One of Daesang's major award categories was awarded to TWICE for their song 'Signal'.
'Signal' is indeed one of the most popular songs of the year, which has survived on top of music charts for a long time and has had a major impact in the South Korean music industry.
The song 'Signal' TWICE managed to beat other popular songs, such as Yoon Jong Shin's 'Like It', WINNER 'Really Really,' EXO 'Ko Ko Bop' and BTS 'DNA'.
While welcoming this trophy, TWICE members were unable to hold back their tears because they felt touched, especially Jihyo who could not stop crying.
They give thanks for the support of everyone, in Korean, Japanese and Mandarin. In 2016 TWICE also won the Daesang 'Song of the Year' award for their song 'Cheer Up'. (www.onkpop.com)
