Cha Joo Hyuk admitted his mistake for having used drugs of marijuana type. On Thursday (21/09) a hearing for an appeal filed by Cha Joo Hyuk was held over the use of illegal drugs and driving while intoxicated.
In his remarks, the former K-Pop idol who later became actor admitted that after completing his mandatory duty, he fell into the use of illegal drugs, due to the lack of affection he gained from his family and his uncertain future.
He also expressed his apologies and promised not to commit further crimes in the future.
In last August Cha Joo Hyuk was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for marijuana use and a drunk driving case he did. Afterwards, Cha Joo Hyuk appealed which was then approved by the prosecutor.
On August 29th, August 31st and September 1st, Cha Joo Hyuk for three consecutive days filed his apology to the court in order to get legal relief.
