BtoB's Sungjae Gets An Offer To Star In A Popular Webtoon Adaptation Drama

BTOB's Sungjae has reportedly received an offer to star in his first project since completing his mandatory military service. Previously, South Korean media reported that Sungjae would play a role in the drama adaptation of a popular webtoon entitled 'Golden Spoon'.

Now on Thursday (25/11), Cube Entertainment announced, "Yook Sungjae is positively considering the offer of a role in the drama 'Golden Spoon'."

If he decides to star in the drama, it will be his first drama in two years. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, 'Golden Spoon' tells the story of a boy whose life changes drastically after he uses a mysterious golden spoon to replace his parents.

Filming for the drama 'Golden Spoon' will begin this year with the target of broadcasting the drama in the first half of 2022. WEi's Kim Yo Han Positive for COVID-19, 'School 2021' Postpones Airing Schedule

NCT's Jaehyun Starring in an Adaptation Drama 'Bungee Jumping of Their Own'

‘Bungee Jumping of Their Own’ is a 2001 Korean film starring actor Lee Byung Hun as a high school teacher named Seo In Woo. Seo In Woo is having a hard time following the death of his girlfriend, In Tae Hee (Lee Eun Joo). However, he then meets a male student named Im Hyun Bin (Yeo Hyun Soo) who has similar behavior to In Tae Hee.

Through the drama version, Jaehyun will play a character named Im Hyun Bin who is a high school student.

The drama 'Bungee Jumping of Their Own' will be produced by Choi Nak Kwon who is the original producer of the film version, and will be directed by Kim Jong Hyuk who has directed the dramas 'Spring Day' and 'Quiz of God: Reboot'.
